You'll be one of the first engineers in NAVEX's AI Centre of Excellence (CoE). Our agents are only as good as the systems they connect to and the platform they run on. You own both, working directly with the Head of the CoE and business leaders who use what we build.
The environment is real: many business systems that were never designed to talk to each other. You'll work alongside our platform and data platform teams to build the path from code to production, and the integrations that let agents read and act on company data safely.
At NAVEX, we're transforming the world-making it safer, more ethical, and ensuring every voice is heard. That's real impact. Our high-performance culture is driven by our values . We move with speed, passion and purpose - as one team. We are bold in our ideas, accountable in our actions, and committed to doing the right things right.
You'll thrive in this hybrid role surrounded by an engaged, collaborative team deeply committed to innovation, speed, and measurable outcomes. Join us and help shape what's next! What you'll get: - Meaningful Purpose. Your work helps organizations operate with integrity and protect their people-at a scale few companies can match.
- High-Performance Environment. We move with urgency, set ambitious goals, and expect excellence. You'll be trusted with real ownership and supported to do the best work of your career.
- Candid, Supportive Culture. We communicate openly, challenge ideas-not people-and value teammates who embrace bold thinking and continuous improvement.
- Growth That Matters. You can count on authentic feedback, strong accountability, and leaders invested in your success so you can achieve real growth.
- Rewards for Results. We provide clear, competitive compensation designed to recognize measurable outcomes and real impact.
What you'll do: - Own the platform the CoE runs on: CI/CD, environments, infrastructure as code, secrets, observability, cost controls.
- Build on shared platform and data infrastructure where it exists
- Build integrations with CRM, proposal, support and internal systems
- Build the backend services agents depend on APIs, queues, job runners, data pipelines, access control
- Own security and data residency. Company and customer data stays inside our cloud boundary. Design for that from day one, with security and IT
- Take over systems built by external partners. Harden them, deploy them properly, and make them runnable by a small team
- Keep the stack small - every service you add is one you run
What you'll bring: - 5+ years of backend engineering with real production ownership
- You've built the deploy, observability and secrets path yourself, not just inherited one
- Strong in Python and/or TypeScript (Node.js, Next.js), Fluent SQL / NoSQL.
- Hands-on with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure), Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, containers, Terraform or equivalent
- You've integrated with systems you didn't control and made them reliable anyway
- You've taken over a codebase someone else wrote and made it production-grade
- Strong security instincts: least privilege, audit trails, handling sensitive data
- Bonus points for:
- Enterprise experience. You've navigated security reviews, IT approvals, identity/SSO and access controls, and know how to get things deployed inside a large organisation
- Supported LLM workloads in production: model gateways, vector stores, eval pipelines
- Working with AWS Bedrock, or inside a VPC-constrained enterprise environment
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR
- Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
- Fuel performance and outcomes. Leverage your job competencies and champion NAVEX's core values
Our side of the deal: - We'll be clear, we'll move fast, and we'll invest in your success. You deserve to be supported, challenged, and rewarded for the impact you make-and we commit to doing that every step of the way.
- The starting pay for this role is 3,500,000 INR with 15% MBO. Discover how you can grow, lead, and make an impact by visiting our career page to learn more.
