About the Guinness Storehouse:
Located in the heart of St. James's Gate Brewery, the Guinness Storehouse welcomes millions of guests every year. Since opening in 2000, it has continued to grow and innovate. From the 360-degree panoramic views of the Gravity Bar to the award-winning flagship store and the Guinness Archive, every corner offers an immersive experience that brings the Guinness story to life.
About the role:
As Visitor Experience Assistant Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day operation of multiple areas across the Guinness Storehouse, inspiring teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high operational, safety and service standards. You'll play a key role in team performance, continuous improvement and the commercial success of the attraction.
What you'll be doing:
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse, multi-functional team, using regular feedback and performance management to build an engaged, high-performing culture.
• Oversee daily operations across multiple areas of the attraction, ensuring efficient delivery and compliance with health, safety and operational standards.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence on the floor, especially during peak periods, supporting colleagues and making timely decisions to resolve issues.
• Champion excellent guest service by role-modelling best practice and setting clear expectations for every guest interaction.
• Communicate clearly between frontline teams and senior management, using briefings and working closely with Retail, Commercial, Archives and other departments.
• Respond confidently to changing priorities, busy periods and unexpected challenges, helping the team maintain a smooth guest experience.
• Use performance data and operational insight, including guest flow and efficiency, to identify improvements and support business targets.
This role offers the opportunity to shape memorable experiences at one of Ireland's best-known visitor attractions, while developing your leadership skills and helping a diverse team grow and succeed.
Experience and skills required:
This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:
• 3-5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail or visitor attractions.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams to deliver strong performance.
• A passion for excellent customer or guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and confidence making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with commercial awareness and an interest in improving performance.
Working with us:
Flexibility is key to our success. Talk to us about what flexibility means to you, so that you're supported to manage your wellbeing and balance your priorities from day one.

Rewards and benefits:
We recognise and value performance, offering our people a highly competitive and flexible rewards and benefits package, including:
• Contemporary work-life balance policies and wellbeing activities
• Generous holiday allowance
• Lunch allowance
• Product allowance
• Annual merit increase and performance-based bonus

Our purpose is crafting iconic drinks chosen for life's moments. And it's our people, with their different experiences, perspectives and talents, who make that possible.
We value diversity in its broadest sense and want everyone to feel they can belong, contribute and strive for their personal best. You'll work alongside people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives - challenging, supporting and learning from one another as one outstanding team. Together, we're constantly learning and improving, combining the strength of our people, capabilities and iconic brands to raise the bar, grow and win. Wherever you join us, you'll have the opportunity to contribute, make an impact and play your part in making life's moments mean a little more.
