The Role

Your role
Bring your specialist knowledge and experience to a company managing 50% of the world's MIPS and play a critical role in our modernization mission. In this role, you'll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you'll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe's core data.

What you will do
Maintain Performance
• Prevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.

Debug and Test
• Find and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.

Develop for the Future
• Bridge the gap: As an instrumental player in modernization, you'll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
