What you'll do:

The ESS Program Manager will provide program leadership & portfolio governance support across the ESS organization. The role will lead major strategic, repeater, regional or global ESS programs through the complete lifecycle, from requirements and planning through development, validation, industrialization and launch. The Program Manager will also establish and maintain an integrated view of the ESS program portfolio, support roadmap and waterline health, strengthen resource and capacity visibility, and provide leadership-ready portfolio reporting. In addition, the role will strengthen PMO execution capability through standardized program-management methods, portfolio analytics, dashboards, digital solutions, automation and practical AI-enabled use cases. The balance across direct program leadership, portfolio governance and execution excellence will be aligned with ESS business priorities.

"• Lead one or more major strategic, repeater, regional or global ESS programs from requirements definition and planning through development, validation, industrialization and launch.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, milestones, risks, dependencies and launch readiness.
• Lead global cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, operations, sourcing, quality, finance, commercial and other functions; drive accountability for commitments and deliverables.
• Establish business-case baselines with key stakeholders, including benefits, cost, assumptions, risks and opportunities, milestones and implementation scenarios; clearly articulate financial and business impacts.
• Lead program reviews, decision-gate preparation and executive communication; escalate major constraints and decisions requiring leadership support.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation and recovery planning when performance deviates from the approved baseline.
• Establish and maintain an integrated master view of the ESS program portfolio, including active and planned strategic, NPI and NTI programs.
• Coordinate ESS portfolio roadmaps, waterline health, prioritization and the ESS-level ProPM data and portfolio-review rhythm.
• Consolidate program information into leadership-ready views covering portfolio health, milestones, gates, investment, resource demand, risks, dependencies and strategic exceptions.
• Support fact-based start, stop, continue and prioritization decisions; track leadership decisions and resulting actions.
• Support ESS capacity-versus-demand governance, resource forecasting, forecast-versus-actual analysis and identification of cross-program constraints.
• Drive consistent use of standard program plans, schedules, risk-management methods, PROLaunch documentation and executive dashboards.
• Support deployment and adoption of ProPM, PROLaunch, CCPM and PROLaunch Studio practices, as applicable.
• Develop portfolio analytics and dashboards that improve visibility to schedule, gate performance, resources, risks, investment, launch readiness and portfolio trends.
• Automate repetitive program and portfolio reporting and develop practical digital and AI-enabled program-management use cases.
• Capture lessons learned, share best practices and lead continuous-improvement actions that improve execution predictability and reduce low-value administrative work."

Qualifications:

B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent degree in engineering, business, operations or a related field
10+ years of experience in complex engineering, product-development, NPI, program-management or portfolio/PMO roles

Skills:

Global program and portfolio management; business-case development; integrated planning; stage-gate product-development processes; PROLaunch, ProPM, decision-gate and portfolio-review governance; risk and issue management; waterline and roadmap management; resource and capacity planning; financial and schedule analysis; portfolio analytics; executive dashboards; digital workflow and automation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project and collaboration/work-management platforms such as JIRA, JAMA and Confluence. PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CCPM or Agile/CSM certification is preferred.
Cross-functional leadership; influencing without authority; executive communication; business acumen; analytical thinking; ownership and accountability; conflict resolution; decision making; change leadership; collaboration across cultures and geographies; strong drive for results.
