The Role

Your Role

The role involves operating and administering SAP Integration Suite services while ensuring platform health, availability, and performance through effective monitoring and operational management. The candidate will be responsible for managing incidents, problems, and operational support activities, performing platform configuration and lifecycle management, coordinating platform maintenance, upgrades, and patching, and ensuring monitoring, observability, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with a minimum years in SAP BTP services, along with experience working with SAPUI5/Fiori applications. Hands-on experience with CAPM (Node.js) development and support is required. Experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) is a nice-to-have skill, while knowledge of SAP Document Management Service (DMS) and experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) are essential. The candidate should also drive continuous operational improvements by adopting and following Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance platform stability, efficiency, and service quality.

You are customer-focused - someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Strong operational and technical skills with the ability to manage SAP BTP platforms in production, ensure high service availability, and continuously improve platform reliability through operational excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years in SAP Integration, SAP BTP, or Middleware Operations

• Strong operational experience with SAP Integration Suite

• Experience with SAP BTP administration

• Experience with incident, problem, and change management

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• SAP Integration Suite

• SAP BTP

• SAP Cloud Connector

• API Management

• ITIL, SRE, DevOps knowledge

• Monitoring and observability tools

The ideal candidate should possess strong application development and troubleshooting capabilities, including expertise in debugging and resolving issues across UI and backend services. The individual should be able to analyze logs, traces, and runtime errors, with a solid understanding of application architecture covering frontend, backend, and service layers. Experience in fixing bugs and supporting live applications is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with CI/CD pipelines for application deployment, hands-on experience with Git for version control, and experience managing deployments across multiple environments.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including experience with IAS integration, SSO configurations, role collections, and user role management in SAP BTP. Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and token-based authentication is required. The role also demands experience in handling production support and escalations, monitoring tools, alert handling, and managing multiple customer tickets simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex issues, a proactive mindset with ownership of issues and escalations, and excellent communication skills for collaborating with global teams and customers are essential. The candidate should also be capable of providing clear and structured RCA documentation, possess a good understanding of support processes and incident management, and work in a structured and disciplined manner.
