Utilities across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) are modernizing their grids, and they need software that delivers measurable results. As Senior Sales Manager, you are responsible for growing GE Vernova's Grid Software portfolio in your territory. You help utilities turn digital transformation and energy transition plans into reliable, resilient power networks. You report to the Regional Sales Director and work with teams across the region and around the world.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Deliver orders, revenue, and growth targets for your territory, guided by your own territory strategy and account plans.
Manage the full sales cycle for complex software deals, from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and contract signature.
Build relationships with senior leaders at utilities, transmission and distribution companies, government-linked entities, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms, and system integrators.
Turn customer challenges into value-based solutions for grid operations, network visibility, and asset performance.
Explain business value and return on investment (ROI) to executives.
Keep an accurate pipeline and forecast in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Guide bid strategy, pricing, and risk review.
Work with solution architects, pre-sales, product, legal, and delivery teams to build strong proposals.
Track market trends, regulation, and competitors, and share customer feedback with product teams.
Coach colleagues and follow GE Vernova commercial and integrity standards.

Required Qualifications

10 years of experience in enterprise software, solution sales, or business development, with a record of closing complex, high-value deals
Experience selling to energy, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure customers
Experience managing long sales cycles with many stakeholders and formal procurement, and influencing senior executives
Fluent English and Arabic, and willingness to travel across your territory

Desired Characteristics

Experience with grid or industrial software, such as Energy Management System (EMS), Distribution Management System (DMS), Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), or Asset Performance Management (APM), and familiarity with information technology and operational technology (IT/OT) environments
Experience in a matrix organization, with channel partners, or across MENAT markets
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field

Work Arrangement and Benefits

Applicants for the Dammam location must have the legal right to work in Saudi Arabia without company sponsorship or time restriction. GE Vernova offers competitive benefits suited to your employment status and local requirements. We also support your growth with on-the-job learning and development.
