Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Health System Contracting Associate to join our Network Contracting team.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves-one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
About the role: The Health System Contracting Associate helps develop and execute Oscar's network strategy by evaluating, negotiating, and managing partnerships with hospitals and health systems. You will combine financial analysis, strategic problem-solving, and relationship management to improve affordability, network access, and the member experience.
In this role, you will analyze provider performance, financial information, and market dynamics, develop negotiation strategies, support complex contract negotiations, and translate findings into clear recommendations for senior leaders. You will also partner across Network, Finance, Legal, Provider Operations, and other teams to implement agreements, resolve provider issues, and identify opportunities to strengthen Oscar's networks.
You will report into the Manager, Network Contracting.
Work Location: This is a remote position based in the field, open to candidates who reside: Georgia, North Carolina or South Carolina. Your daily work will involve a blend of work from your home office and frequent local travel for client meetings. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. #LI-Remote
