Within
Core Engineering, the
KubePlatform (KubePlat) team builds and scales the foundational compute platform that powers Atlassian's global cloud services. Our mission is to provide an enterprise-grade, highly reliable, and self-healing infrastructure layer spanning compute, Kubernetes control planes, CI/CD, and artifact pipelines.
- Kubernetes Control Plane: Design and develop core components of Atlassian's Kubernetes control plane platform.
- Multi-Cloud Enablement: Contribute to multi-cloud infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, Oasis, and FedRAMP.
- Cell-Based Architecture: Drive the adoption of cell-based architecture to deliver reliable, highly scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Core Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Core Engineering principles.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Practical experience across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
