We believe that narrative transforms lives, builds bridges, and produces empathy. By rigorously developing voices of every type and talent, and by removing barriers to entry. GrubStreet fosters the creation of meaningful stories and ensures that excellent writing remains vital and relevant.
We offer hundreds of creative writing programs and events for writers from all backgrounds in Boston, MA; Providence, RI; and online. Scholarships are available and many programs are free. Our annual literary conference, The Muse and the Marketplace, was recently named the number one writing conference in North America by The Writer magazine.
