About the Team

The Data Engineering team builds reliable, scalable systems that power data-driven decisions across the
company. The team values openness, collaboration, and continuous learning. Everyone contributes ideas,

Responsibilities

• Designing and building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Apache Spark or Flink
• Developing efficient, production-ready code in Java, Scala, or Python .
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and data needs.
• Ensuring data quality, governance, and performance standards are met.
• Mentoring and supporting teammates to strengthen technical and collaborative skills.
• Improving automation, CI/CD, and observability across data systems.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or distributed systems
• Need to have experience using Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar frameworks.
• Have experience in coding proficiently in Java, Scala, or Python to build reliable and efficient data applications
• Have apply advanced SQL skills to design and optimize complex queries across diverse datasets
• Understand orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dolphin Scheduler to manage workflows effectively
• Communicate clearly and collaborating in inclusive, cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:
$124,000.00

Maximum:
$271,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
