Deliver powerful results 

To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Chief of Staff with 5-10+ years of leadership experience as a COO, Chief of Staff, or strategic operations/business leader of a fast-paced, growing organization or in management consulting. This role reports directly to the CEO.

The ideal candidate is:

  • An individual with a track record of leading complex, high-impact work in fast-paced environments
  • An exceptional written and verbal communicator
  • Experienced in excellent deck creation and analyzing data spreadsheets
  • Feedback-driven and resilient, with experience working closely with senior executives and a hunger to grow from tough, candid input
  • Experienced yet humble, bringing strong judgment and maturity while remaining eager to learn and adapt
  • Protective of excellence, owning high-quality outcomes and supporting the CEO and team’s time and energy
  • People-smart and integrity-first, able to navigate nuanced interpersonal challenges with fairness, clarity, and strength
  • Highly efficient and focused, able to move fast and flex hours when needed to land the plane
  • A disciplined project manager, skilled at anticipating needs, aligning stakeholders, and achieving phenomenal outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO, driving alignment and follow-through on Zeta’s top priorities across teams
  • Augment CEO priorities and ensure strategic and efficient execution and completion
  • Lead cross-functional, organization-wide projects defined by the CEO  from strategy to execution, ensuring goals and priorities are translated into concrete, actionable plans and initiatives
  • Facilitate and anticipate need for communication and alignment across the Board, senior leaders, and broader teams, ensuring the right voices are at the table and the CEO’s time is leveraged effectively
  • Craft compelling internal and external communications alongside the CEO, anchored in clarity and tone, that are proactive and audience-aware in all directions
  • Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean scale-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. The salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. This position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary, merit-based performance bonus.
