• Strong hands-on experience in Golang for backend/service development.
• Solid programming and debugging skills in C , Python or Java/Groovy, with familiarity in shell scripting. Specific programming skills for each engineer are detailed in Section 4.1 of the SOW
• Strong working Linux knowledge - comfortable developing, debugging and running services on Linux-based systems.
• Experience working with APIs such as REST and gRPC based services.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture, design and implementation (e.g., microservices, scale-out systems) and developing for and on high-availability (HA) systems.
• Experience with containers and container definitions (e.g., Docker/OCI images, manifests), and deploying services onto Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes cluster management, including core concepts such as services, deployments, Helm, storage, networking and security.
• Experience in writing Kubernetes Operators (ideally using Operator SDK).
• Specialized domain knowledge in areas for e.g. such as Software Update, Morpheus plugin development, K8s Security, and K8s Cluster setup, as applicable to the role. Specifics for each engineer are detailed in Section 4.1 of the SOW.
