The role requires a highly experienced and strategic leader who has strong expertise in technology and data management governance frameworks, operational risk programs, and emerging risks with ability to articulate and execute a strategic vision while anticipating future challenges, translating complex trends into actionable strategies, and inspiring both senior stakeholders and industry peers. A critical element of this role is developing enhanced methods to identify, assess and measure data risk while identifying and executing efficiencies. - Independent Oversight: The role provides independent second-line oversight of data management risk.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assessing and enhancing the data management framework, identifying, and mitigating risks.
- Governance: Reviewing and evaluating data governance policies, architecture, and quality monitoring processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with data management regulations and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders to promote a strong data risk culture and provide expert guidance.
- Strategic Initiatives: Leading critical work efforts and strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement in data management.
- Reporting: Reporting on the state of data management risk to senior management.
- 7+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5+ years of data management experience.
- 5+ years of technology risk identification, assessment, and measurement experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Expertise in problem solving, root cause analysis, issue management, or similar experience in continuous improvement of processes, controls, technology solutions.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment with multiple priorities and strict timelines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to anticipate and ask the right questions to assess all facets of an effort.
- Ability to prepare and deliver complex data in a way that is concise/understandable.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and project management experience.
- Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements.
- Certifications in Audit or Risk disciplines.
- Experience with Data Analysis to identify and communicate risk and influence appropriate.
- This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
