In this role, you will:

  • Independently retain and reactively grow client relationships by applying strong relationship-management skills, understanding client needs and priorities, responding quickly, communicating proactively and strategically, managing expectations, and consistently soliciting feedback.
  • Participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash-flow, real-estate, and industry-specific credit solutions by conducting financial analysis, preparing client presentations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute complex transactions
  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet moderately complex needs that require an in-depth evaluation by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
  • Independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives and guide team to meet deliverables within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives by helping clients navigate Wells Fargo's processes, escalating client inquiries when needed, identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements; may lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues
  • Depending on portfolio needs, partner with in-market managers and CBO Leadership, to deepen in-market knowledge, grow skills for supporting larger and more complex clients, and assist with complex credit solutions to strengthen overall credit capabilities.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems/maintain standards of care
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue from $10MM to $100MM
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to document activity accurately and uphold standards of care ("SOC") while maintaining disciplined sales, pipeline, and relationship-planning practices at direction of CBO Leadership
