Principal Product Marketing Manager

Overview

As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the strategy, product management, and marketing activities for Waters Lab Automation including our award-winning Andrew+ pipetting robot and portfolio of connected devices and tools. Reporting to the Automation Portfolio Owner, the Principal Product Marketing Manager is a highly visible, global role that must lead through influence with a number of cross-functional teams across the company.

A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen as well as technical and market knowledge would be ideal for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and implement Lab Automation solutions strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop in-depth, impactful marketing and positioning strategies that differentiate Waters automation solutions.
  • Understand our customers and potential product offerings and solutions to address needs and opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to execute the roadmap and to drive innovation for product launches.
  • Work closely with field marketing, sales management teams, and sales enablement to develop and execute training plans.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS in a Science or Business related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a product management, business development or other customer-facing role in a life sciences or pharmaceutical domain.
  • Proven track record of implementing 'Go-to- Market' product strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
