Your New Role...
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Nordic marketing strategy and brand growth for Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming service HBO Max and our linear channels across Sweden. You'll lead innovative campaigns that spark fandom, deliver impactful marketing initiatives, and bring bold creative thinking to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can create clarity and impact across complex markets.
You'll champion big ideas that break through, rally teams across Sweden, and elevate engagement for sports content, global releases, and local productions (scripted & non-scripted).
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Set the strategic vision and develop brand strategies for HBO Max and Kanal 5 in Sweden, acting as the local brand champion.
- Design and execute innovative, country-specific marketing plans that strengthen brand presence and consumer impact.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across all media, collaborating with social, PR, creative, and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor brand health and analyze campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and messaging tools; approve creative concepts for major campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and present plans, results, and insights to local and global leadership.
- Own the marketing P&L for streaming and networks in Sweden, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
- Work closely with local content teams and executive producers to maximize impact.
- Set ambitious standards for creativity and execution, leveraging iconic IP and advocating for local priorities including sports, global titles, and local productions.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Proven marketing experience, ideally in global streaming, entertainment, or major consumer brands.
- Proven ability to create cultural moments and connect audience insights with content.
- Experience managing creative and media agency relationships.
- Financial acumen, including budget management and campaign effectiveness tracking.
- Data-driven and analytical, with expertise in leveraging insights to optimize campaigns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging local and global teams.
- Passion for storytelling, creative ideation, and building enduring global brands.
- Strong understanding of the Swedish market.
- Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language (ideally Swedish).
