Your New Role...

CNN is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Content and Talent Development teams. This role will report to the EVP and will be responsible for creating and managing systems that streamline workflows for original content projects, enhance cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure timely execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content production or show development and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Build and manage operational systems for the Content and Talent Development departments, including workflow tracking for:
    • All projects with internal and external partners
    • Cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Streaming/Digital, Research, Marketing, Finance, and People & Culture
    • Internal production and recruitment activities
  • Design and maintain a master calendar of meetings, deadlines, and deliverables for Original Series stakeholders across CNN.
  • Track assignments and project milestones, ensuring priorities are aligned and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Develop shared tools and dashboards to provide visibility into department priorities, active projects, and progress updates.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and communication between internal and external partners to keep projects moving efficiently.


Your Qualifications & Experience...
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, production management, or program operations in a content-focused environment (television, streaming, digital media).
  • Strong production, show experience or content development experience with a proven ability to track complex projects through multiple phases.
  • Expertise in creating systems and workflows that support cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership - Demonstrated ability to lead projects and act as a role model for the department.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Must be a strong relationship builder who leads with influence and establishes trust.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Slack, and Microsoft Teams, with advanced Excel capabilities (modeling, data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards) and proven experience preparing high-impact presentation decks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,841.00 - $144,563.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
