Position Description
The Director, Technology Resilience will design the implementation and maintenance of the Disaster Recovery Program for the company. Tasks include, but are not limited to, building relationships with technology leaders and teams across the company to identify and analyze risk within a system or platform, designing and developing mitigation strategies and technology solutions to ensure system recoverability meets company standards, documenting plans and procedures and managing testing efforts of such plans and procedures. Position will lead complex projects that involve input from multi-disciplinary teams made up of both internal and external resources. The position will also work closely with Technology & Broadcast counterparts to support a robust program for testing of technology recovery solutions.
This position requires off business hour availability and travel.
Job Responsibilities
% of Time
Drive the strategy and innovate solutions used for technology recovery across the organization, work collaboratively with internal and external partners, including consultants and vendors to align disaster recovery strategies and appropriately documented plans with business needs.

Drive awareness and engagement with technology stakeholders to ensure adherence to company standards and expectations for technology resilience and identify and escalate gaps or risks associated with lack of compliance

Manage resources within the center of excellence and set planning priorities for employees dedicated to work efforts for the area of responsibility

At the time of disaster:
- Leverage relationships and knowledge of business operations to support technology teams interacting with the crisis management process
- Provide decision support for impacted Teams
- Support activation of DR plans
- Facilitate post incident review to ensure lessons learned are applied across the portfolio

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in disaster recovery, technology or related field
- 10 + years experience managing complex technology projects
- Broadcast/Media knowledge is plus
- Must have experience presenting to senior management
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery or Information Technology field
- AWS Cloud certified practitioner
- ABCP, CBCP or similar business continuity certification
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of Agile development process a plus
- Six Sigma or equivalent analytical discipline preferred
- Experience with mass notification systems, highly preferred
- Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Fusion Risk Management software, used to create BC & IT DR plans, is a plus
Other Requirements
- Must be able to understand technical documentation including network diagrams and system infrastructure diagrams
- Ability to present complex ideas or situations in a clear, simple and understandable manner to non-technical audiences
- Must demonstrate curiosity and excellent problem solving skills
- Must have strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively; ability to elicit cooperation
- Must have strong written & verbal communication skills. Must be able to interface with and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with colleagues in remote locations
- Must have strong organizational skills and project management skills
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in verbal and written modes
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate international meeting schedules by participating in video or conference calls beyond the normal schedule when necessary
