Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio growth: expand VAS penetration per client via structured upsell, cross‑sell motions and multi‑year account plans.
  • Commercial execution: drive proposals, pricing, negotiation, contracting, and renewals end‑to‑end, ensure deal hygiene in CRM.
  • Executive engagement: run senior‑level conversations, QBRs,MBRs, and roadmap reviews, align on value hypotheses and outcomes.
  • Pipeline and forecast: maintain a predictable pipeline, produce accurate short‑ and long‑range forecasts using Visa sales tools.
  • Insight to action: analyze client performance and market signals, define clear actions to mitigate risk and unlock growth.
  • Delivery orchestration: coordinate Product, Solutions, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Marketing to design and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Readiness and enablement: contribute client‑back insights to improve collateral, cases, value calculators, and win‑playbooks.
  • Governance: ensure compliance, risk, and operational readiness across the sales and delivery lifecycle.
  • Escalation ownership: lead issue resolution with clear owners, timelines, and communications to clients and internal stakeholders.

Collaboration map

  • Internal: Product, Solutions Consulting, Acceptance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Regional Leadership.
  • External: C‑level and functional leads at client organizations across assigned markets, relevant partners and platforms.

Success metrics

  • Portfolio revenue growth and VAS penetration by account.
  • New VAS activations, upsell, cross‑sell win rate and average deal cycle time.
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage.
  • Renewal, expansion rates and churn mitigation.
  • Client satisfaction (NPS,CSAT) and delivery against agreed milestones.

Scope and cadence

  • Markets: Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo.
  • Cadence: quarterly business reviews with clients, monthly pipeline and forecast reviews, weekly deal, priorities syncs with cross‑functional teams.
  • Travel: regional travel as needed for client meetings and reviews.

Reporting

Reports on VAS Acceptance Sales Lead in CISSEE

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

    Qualifications

    • Payments industry experience (acquiring, issuing, card schemes, gateways, PSPs) and understanding of the competitive landscape.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field, MBA a plus
    • 5+ years of successful new business development and account growth in a startup or high growth environment.
    • Strong track record selling solutions (enterprise software, SaaS, professional services, IT), payments experience strongly preferred.
    • Ability to interpret multiple data sources, derive insights, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Strategic thinker with hands on execution able to develop go to market plans and produce high quality collateral, presentations, and tools.
    • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies and the buyer journey, adept at sales enablement and creating effective proof points.
    • Experience managing closed loop marketing, sales processes and CRM discipline.
    • Proven relationship building and influence skills in complex solution sales, including multi region customers with aggressive growth plans.
    • Demonstrated ability to create strategic account plans and execute collaboratively across functions.
    • Strong prioritization and project management, comfortable handling concurrent initiatives.
    • Self starter with excellent organization and issue resolution skill, resilient under pressure and accountable for outcomes.
    • Fluent in English and Serbian.
