Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Sales strategies for VAS Acceptance products in Brazil, tailored to market readiness and product launch timelines.
  • Lead and coordinate Visa’s participation in operational rules committees and councils, representing the region and key market stakeholders for VAS Acceptance initiatives.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of Visa Merchant Digital and VAS Acceptance products, serving as a subject matter expert to foster client engagement and solution adoption.
  • Deliver technical and functional support by designing VAS Acceptance solution architectures and leading product implementations for merchants and acquirers.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across internal, global, regional, and external stakeholders to ensure successful VAS Acceptance rollouts.
  • Identify, develop, and manage technology and business partners that extend and enhance VAS Acceptance Solutions capabilities.
  • Support business teams with technical input for proposals, accurately assessing feasibility, cost, and timing for customer opportunities.
  • Serve as a technical consultant on projects, delivering custom solutions to address client-specific VAS Acceptance requirements.
  • Strategize with Direct Sales and Account Management teams to advance and close VAS Acceptance sales opportunities, maintaining regular engagement with senior leadership.
  • Work closely with the Visa Product team to maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and new VAS Acceptance offerings.
  • Proactively monitor product developments by reviewing code release notes and sharing knowledge within the VAS Acceptance Sales team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or consulting roles, ideally within complex enterprise environments, preferably related to electronic payment systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a pre-sales and multiproduct specialist in technical settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven history of delivering presentations to customers in sales environments, including Director-level and C-suite audiences.
  • Strongly preferred knowledge of payment acceptance solutions, covering both Card Present and Card Not Present scenarios.
  • Exceptional customer engagement skills, complemented by outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a sales-driven context.
  • Prior experience providing paid consultancy or professional services to clients is desirable.
  • Experience in managing personnel and resources within a matrix organizational structure.
