The Associate Manager - Garnishments is responsible for overseeing day-to-day garnishment operations for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role involves managing a team, driving process standardization and automation, and serving as a key point of escalation for complex garnishment issues.
Primary / Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the garnishment department.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and improvement for scalability and effectiveness.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
• Ensure all daily production requirements are completed with proper documentation.
• Establish and refine UKG Services process methodology and best practices.
• Generate operational metrics to monitor and manage team performance.
• Facilitate training delivery for internal and external customers.
• Conduct interviews and participate in hiring for team roles.

• Build and maintain strong peer relationships across the organization.
• Train team members on new or enhanced operational procedures and policies.
• Implement quality control measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Overall 9 - 12 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in Garnishments, US Payroll or HCM.
• Minimum 4 years of management experience leading a direct team of 5 or more.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Payroll and garnishment regulations.
• FPC or any payroll-related certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
• Working knowledge of UKG Pro is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is an advantage.
Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated and team-oriented.
Education / Certification
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
