About the Role
- The Technical Operations team at Uber Advertising serves as the critical link between Global Advertising Operations, Sales, Product, and Engineering organizations.
- As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in spearheading the strategic development and implementation of solutions for intricate technical relationships and integrations. This role is ideally suited for individuals who excel at resolving complex strategic, operational, and technical challenges for the world's foremost advertiser brands. You will provide essential technical implementation support and strategic guidance for our most sophisticated advertising products and priority advertisers.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and creative departments to synchronize technical capabilities with client prerequisites and campaign objectives.
- Oversee and maintain data clean room environments to ensure secure, privacy-compliant data processing and analysis for advertising initiatives.
- Partner with internal and external technical and developer teams to facilitate communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of client challenges.
- Liaise with engineering, product, and data teams to integrate ad technology platforms, APIs, and third-party tools into existing workflows.
- Formulate and implement processes to optimize ad operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure the scalability of technical workflows.
- Improve existing processes and design/develop tools, processes, and workflows to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all technical touchpoints, including ad products, site operations, and third-party partners.
- Offer technical support for campaign issues and discrepancies, including new product quality assurance and testing, and support for platform defects.
- Develop trafficking and ad operations specifications and documentation for new products.
- Train campaign management and ad operations teams on new product execution and product enhancements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Ad Tech business fundamentals, encompassing the strategic application of technologies to achieve business objectives and the capacity to translate business vision into a coherent technical strategy while considering financial implications.
- Demonstrated success in the management and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including DSPs, SSPs, and ad servers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in adtech or a comparable technical operations role.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing SQL for querying and analyzing extensive datasets.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating within data clean room environments, such as AWS Clean Rooms, Google Ads Data Hub, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of publisher monetization technologies for Display, Video and Audience extension
- Proficient in utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data processing and storage.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation or data processing.
- Possesses an analytical, data-driven mindset with proven expertise in data modeling.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$153,000 per year - USD$170,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$153,000 per year - USD$170,000 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$153,000 per year - USD$170,000 per year.
