Senior Associate, Social Media & Influencer

We are building a best in class Brand Social team responsible for telling Uber's story in an engaging, inspiring, and innovative way across our global channels, to a global audience.
With strong influencer and creator partnerships, we aim to drive conversation, generate buzz and tell meaningful stories with social-first content for Uber, Uber Eats and Postmates. In this role, you'll help shape and execute influencer and creator campaigns that bring Uber's brand and products to life across social platforms while inserting Uber into culture. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic partnerships with top influencers, and you'll work closely with cross-functional partners, and bring new products, partnerships, campaigns, activations, and events to life on our global channels. You are someone who lives and breathes entertainment, cultural moments, and the ever-evolving creator landscape. You have a finger on the pulse of what is trending before it hits the mainstream, and the network to activate it and turn it into a brand moment.
What You'll Do
- Influencer Relations: Identify, vet, and manage relationships with influencers and creators who align with Uber's brand values and campaign objectives. Maintain and grow a deep network of influencer, creator, and entertainment industry contacts across verticals, including lifestyle, culinary, travel, beauty, sports, fashion, music, film/TV.
- Creative Concepting & Coordination: Develop, execute, and optimize influencer and creator campaigns across all platforms, and all three of our brands. Coordinate end-to-end campaign logistics, including initial outreach, contracting, briefing, approvals, and content delivery.
- Collaborate Crossfunctionally: Partner with Social, Brand, Comms, Product Marketing, Legal and Finance to integrate influencer work into broader storytelling strategies around key products, partnerships and campaigns.
- Stay Ahead of Culture: Track social trends, emerging formats, creator behaviors, and new platform features to keep the brand's content fresh and relevant. Proactively identify creator opportunities and new content formats.
- Tracking & Monitoring: Track campaign progress, ensure deliverables are met, and help maintain a consistent, positive creator experience. Maintain influencer databases, campaign documentation, and internal workflows for accuracy and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, organic social media, and creator partnership - agency or brand side.
- Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of the major social platforms, as well as experience developing best practices and the influencer / creator environment across each.
- Experience managing multiple influencer / creator campaigns simultaneously with attention to detail and strong project-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in influencer marketing, organic social media, and creator partnership - agency or brand side.
- You're someone who thinks like a creator, moves like a producer, and strategizes like a marketer.
- Clear, confident communicator who can build trust with both external and internal stakeholders.
- A creative mindset with the ability to evaluate content ideas through a brand-aligned, audience-first lens.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
- Communications, editorial planning, and graphic design / video editing experience.
- BrandWatch, Dash Social and Sprinklr experience.
- A go-getter who looks forward to rolling up their sleeves and building things from the bottom up.
- A team player who enjoys working closely with cross functional stakeholders and stays calm under pressure. Success at Uber depends on the ability to partner internally and externally, and organize around shared goals.
- A creative strategist who can spot a trend from a mile away and leverages data-driven insights to craft impactful, relevant content that aligns with Uber's business goals.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$130,000 per year - USD$144,000 per year.
