About the job

  • Lead the commercial and operational success of rider (consumer) growth for Uber Mobility in Southern Europe, owning acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation strategies.

  • Continuously improve the rider experience by tracking key lifecycle and satisfaction metrics, running experiments, and scaling successful solutions via operations or product changes.
  • Build and manage high-impact partnerships with large companies and transport infrastructure players, shaping structures that unlock new use cases and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, BD, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Product, Safety) across local, EMEA, and global levels to align on bold mobility plans.
  • Serve on the Southern Europe Leadership Team, leading and developing a diverse team and contributing to regional strategy, governance, and senior stakeholder reporting.

About you

  • At least 6 years of professional experience, including 2+ years managing a team in highly analytical, strategic, or operational environments.
  • Degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics) or equivalent hands-on experience in data-driven roles. MBA degree or equivalent work experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English, with strong executive communication skills; fluency in Italian and/or Greek and knowledge of those mobility markets are strong pluses.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions, experimentation, and measurable business impact.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, advisory, or product/project management in multinational or digital-platform environments, ideally in two-sided marketplaces.
  • Comfortable operating in large, matrixed organizations, with strong stakeholder management, planning skills, and motivation to improve mobility for riders and drivers in Southern Europe.
