Who we're looking for
TFSB's Finance Program Enablement and Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Process Senior Analyst to support the CFO Organization at TFSB (Treasury, Finance, and Accounting).
The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze CFO Organization owned business processes to ensure adherence to functional program requirements, perform operational risk assessments, and support the enablement of new capabilities. Responsibilities include managing the operational risk and control program, developing and maintaining documentation of process flows and descriptions, and recommending best practices on all end-to-end workstreams, including key management reports.
Reporting to the Process and Control Manager, the person in this role will support the department's objectives to oversee the internal control framework and program enablement in support of TFSB's CFO Organization.
What you'll be doing
- Operational Risk Assessment: Evaluate complex business processes to ensure compliance with policy or regulatory program requirements, identify and assess operational risks and controls, complete root cause assessments, document findings, obtain buy-in for proposed mitigating measures, and track remediation efforts.
- Process Documentation: Improve documentation with process owners on end-to-end business processes, by ensuring process mapping and procedures are complete and providing feedback and guidance to business stakeholders to create a culture of self-inspection and continuous improvement.
- Process Transformation: Apply Lean/JKK concepts and techniques to lead process improvement initiatives, develop and implement solution recommendations, and leverage organizational Change Management concepts in communication strategies.
- Other: Execute assorted department and CFO Organization tasks such as monitoring reviews, backlog management and prioritization, delivery of ad-hoc requests, and creation and development of dashboards and other reporting.

What you bring
- Four-Year bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Relevant prior work experience.
- High degree of technical aptitude with a demonstrated knowledge of process engineering within accounting, and/or Finance, highly proficient technical skills with process mapping tools, and experience with mapping large cross departmental process
- Interpersonal skills: comfortable working both autonomously and in group settings, and strong written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate across the management spectrum.
Added bonus if you have
- Education: Master's degree in accounting and/or Finance
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in similar field and/or internal/external audit
- Skills/Hands on Technical proficiency: Knowledge and application of Change Management principals, Experience with the identification of operational controls, with research of Banking and Accounting regulations
- Additional Certifications: CPA, CIA (or comparable), Ji Kotei Kanketsu (JKK) or Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Six Sigma (or comparable)
