Responsibilities

The Supply Chain and Logistics team builds the capabilities that support business growth and global operations. We provide business planning, operational insights, and logistics strategy support to help teams and partners operate efficiently across markets.

As the business scales globally, we take on complex, business-critical challenges across network design, operational efficiency, service quality, and the differing needs of each local market, work that strengthens partner experiences and supports sustainable growth.

You will help build scalable logistics capabilities that support TikTok Commerce across global markets.

We are looking for a Logistics Solution Operations Manager who combines strong operational expertise, product thinking and data-driven problem-solving capabilities to design, launch and optimise logistics solutions for the UK market.

- Allocation Strategy & Operations Optimisation
- Own daily parcel allocation strategies across different carriers, seller segments, industries and logistics service models, balancing delivery speed, service quality, capacity and cost.
- Develop and optimise carrier volume allocation rules, cost saving strategies based on carrier capabilities, network coverage and operational performance.
- Work closely with Product, Technology and Data Science teams to improve allocation algorithms, volume forecasting and carrier selection.
- Proactively identify operational inefficiencies through data analysis and translate insights into actionable optimisation strategies.
- Logistics Product & System Capability Development
- Translate complex operational challenges into scalable product and system solutions, acting as the key interface between Logistics Operations, Product and Technology teams.
- Independently develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), covering business problems, functional requirements, operational workflows, expected benefits and success metrics.
- Drive the end-to-end product delivery process, including requirement prioritisation, solution design, UAT, phased rollout and post-launch optimisation.
- Design and continuously improve operational SOPs, system workflows and automation capabilities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage product and technology capabilities to solve complex operational problems and reduce manual intervention.
- Industry Solutions & New Logistics Service Launch
- Design and implement industry-specific logistics solutions based on seller characteristics, parcel profiles, delivery requirements, customer experience and cost sensitivity.
- Develop and optimise logistics solutions including PUDO, reverse logistics, high-value parcel services, new carrier integrations and customised delivery models.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Carrier Operations, Product and Technology teams to launch new logistics providers and operating models.
- Independently manage the full solution lifecycle from business analysis and solution design to pilot testing, controlled rollout and full-scale launch.
- Evaluate solution feasibility, operational performance, cost efficiency and scalability, driving continuous improvement based on test results.
- Data-driven Problem Solving & Business Impact
- Proactively identify critical operational issues through data monitoring, deep-dive analysis and structured root-cause investigations.
- Analyse logistics performance across sellers, carriers, parcel journeys and service models to identify opportunities for speed, experience and cost improvement.
- Translate data insights into clear priorities, executable action plans and measurable business outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional projects to continuously improve E2E Lead Time, On-Time Delivery, DNR, Aging, Lost Parcels, Cost per Parcel and operational efficiency.
- Balance short-term operational improvements with long-term product capability development to deliver sustainable business results.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, solution operations, logistics product operations, e-Commerce fulfilment or supply chain technology.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end parcel logistics operations, carrier capabilities, allocation logic and operational processes.
- Proven ability to independently translate operational requirements into product solutions, including BRD development, process design, testing and implementation.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify critical business problems, conduct structured analysis and develop actionable solutions.
- Good understanding of product logic, system workflows, SOP design and cross-functional project delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and execution skills, strong ownership, proactive mindset and willingness to go beyond defined responsibilities, with the ability to independently drive complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Preferably holding a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related fields.
- Experience in e-Commerce marketplace logistics, platform-based 4PL operations or logistics technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of the UK logistics market, including carrier capabilities, network coverage, service models and cost structures.
- Experience in carrier management, product optimisation, volume forecasting or logistics-related systems optimisation.
- Experience launching PUDO, reverse logistics, high-value parcel solutions, new carrier integrations or specialised logistics services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BI tools or other data analysis platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in delivery speed, customer experience, logistics cost and operational efficiency through product and operational innovation.
