TikTok Shop - Brazil Industry Strategy Specialist

Responsibilities

The team supports the sustainable growth of TikTok Shop in Brazil by monitoring industry developments, identifying external risks, strengthening strategic partnerships, and implementing industry engagement programs. The role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Government Relations, Communications, Legal, Compliance, and business teams.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze Brazil's e-Commerce industry landscape, and key market developments to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Research and consolidate information related to regulatory, compliance, and business security matters, and provide clear, practical recommendations to relevant business teams.
- Develop and maintain TikTok Shop's industry network in Brazil, with a focus on building long-term relationships with key strategic partners, industry organizations, and relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and execute external engagement initiatives, including seminars, forums, workshops, and other industry programs, to support business compliance and strengthen industry reputation.
- Partner closely with Government Relations, Communications, Legal, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams on relevant projects and emerging issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in e-commerce, industry research, public policy, regulatory affairs, strategic partnerships, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Brazil's business and regulatory environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and logical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience collaborating across functions and with stakeholders at different levels.
