HR Business Partner - TikTok Product & Design

Responsibilities

About The Team
The TikTok Product Team aims to realize the development of international video business and build and maintain industry-leading products. The Global Design Team is to provide first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users around the world, thereby helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down more barriers, and build bridges between people.

Specifically, you will:
- Partner with regional and cross-regional business leaders across assigned business unit(s) to develop a deep understanding of regional business strategies, and own the implementation of consistent, high-quality HR practices across multiple markets.
- Act as a regional HR advisor to line management, providing guidance on talent development, performance management, and employee relations matters with cross-market impact.
- Proactively assess regional workforce and capability needs across markets, make data-driven recommendations, and lead or coordinate the implementation of scalable people solutions.
- Lead and manage employee relations and disciplinary cases with regional complexity, advising business leaders on risk, compliance, and resolution approaches across different jurisdictions.
- Partner closely with regional and global HR COEs (Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, etc.) to design and execute region-wide HR programs while ensuring compliance.
- Drive regional employee engagement strategies, ensuring alignment across markets while adapting to business and cultural contexts.
- Serve as a regional ambassador of TikTok's organizational culture, planning and executing cross-market culture and engagement initiatives that reinforce company values at scale.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with clear progression from Talent Acquisition into HR Business Partnering roles and increasing scope of responsibility.
- Current or prior experience in technology, internet, or digital platform organizations, supporting fast-growing, large-scale operations in high-ambiguity legal or regulatory environments.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end HR support for large employee populations (300+ employees), including leading or acting as a key contributor to enterprise-level performance management processes (e.g. performance reviews, calibration, PPRA-type forums) across multiple markets, as well as complex organizational and workforce changes at scale.
- Demonstrated experience leading or owning regional or cross-regional HR responsibilities, supporting 8-10 countries/markets concurrently and managing high-complexity people matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and spoken business English, used as the primary working language in regional stakeholder and decision-making forums.
