Our SMB New Business Development Team is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, pitching and closing high potential advertisers and marketing agencies for the TikTok Ads Platform. You will consult with decision makers to help them incorporate TikTok Ads into their marketing strategies, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop best practices for client acquisition and sales, while building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, establishing new client relationships, focusing on revenue and bottom line business impact. Success in this position requires a passion for sales, supporting businesses, generating new business, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Prospect, qualify, pitch and close new business opportunities for the TikTok Ads Platform
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on lead-generation initiatives
- Consistently meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative acquisition sales targets, while delivering a best-in-class experience to clients
- Build and manage a pipeline of business
- Consult with decision makers and align TikTok Ads strategies with identified marketing and business objectives
- Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts via phone, email, and 3rd party tooling
- Onboard new clients onto the TikTok Ads Platform and set them up for long-term success

- Working with customers not yet on the TikTok platform with the aim of leading the full sales cycle; from prospecting to closing a deal, managing the customer in the first few months before fast-tracking to AM.
- Working cross-functionally with marketing teams and in-country teams to determine key growth industries, and execute this strategy.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High oral and written fluency in English
- Passionate about TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
- Critical thinking and analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
- Team working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
- Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines
- Results-oriented with a strong drive for achieving goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with revenue targets in a fast paced, client-facing environment
- Previous experience or knowledge of the marketing/social media/advertising industry with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, knowledge of the local market SMB landscape is a plus
- Familiarity with sales prospecting tactics and technologies
- Experience in pipeline building through prospecting and reaching out to new customers
