Job Description:

We're looking for a Last Mile Transportation Planner

Join our team and help drive the success of store delivery operations across 120-180 locations. In this role, you'll optimize and coordinate the final leg of our supply chain, ensuring merchandise arrives on time, efficiently, and cost-effectively. • Manage last mile delivery planning for 120-180 stores, ensuring timely, cost-effective execution aligned with service level and budget targets.
• Oversee daily transportation flows using TMS and tracking systems, resolving issues and maintaining delivery compliance.
• Optimize delivery routes and performance using GPS, routing software, and data analytics to reduce costs and improve visibility.
• Align resources with forecasted volumes and lead strategic planning, especially during peak seasons, to support store operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and Distribution Services to drive operational improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage escalations, enforce safety compliance, and monitor carrier performance against SLAs.

• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, dispatching, or a related field; experience in business or engineering is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred; CITT or P.Log. designation is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex variables and develop effective solutions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across teams.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in TMS, dispatch and fleet management software; experience with WMS and network optimization tools is an asset.
• Experience with Blue Yonder is a great asset.
• Solid computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
