Responsibilities
- Ensures full compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including company safety standards and procedures.
- Leads by example to foster a proactive safety culture and promote Safety Citizenship.
- Conducts field observations to validate practices, identify hazards, and reinforce safe behaviors.
- Plans, schedules, and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance to support asset reliability and performance.
- Develops and implements data strategies to improve asset data quality and enable condition-based maintenance.
- Collaborates across engineering, operations, and procurement to assess asset performance and apply reliability-centered maintenance.
- Leads and coordinates response efforts during emergency incidents to ensure safety and operational continuity.
- Drives team performance through coaching, training, and evaluations.
- Manages tools, materials, vehicles, and staffing to support efficient maintenance execution.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four or more years of combined experience as a Journeyman Substation Electrician, Test Technician and/or in a leadership role within Substation Construction, Maintenance, Test, or Operations.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently or previously held SCE Qualified Electrical Worker status.
- Currently or previously held SCE Acting Operator status.
- Experience in Microsoft 360 Suite (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
- Experience in Consolidated Mobile Solutions (CMS).
- Experience in Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP).
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- Position will require up to 20 % traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
