Supply and Demand Planning Intern

The Supply and Demand Planning Intern will work in consultation with other interns and NCE SMEs, develop an SOP that incorporates best practices in the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) process considering Sales, Operations & Supply Chain Planning priorities and constraints. New SOP will have a measurable impact on working capital and productivity.

This will be a 10-week summter internship. This position is based in our Charleston, SC office.

Key Tasks and Skillsets, Projects

  • Strong technical and analytical skills (MS Office, PowerBI, Tableau, Etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication to document findings
  • Supply chain/ Optimization / Engineering Centered course work
  • Ability to understand and recall operational process steps
  • Documented experience in leading presentations

Goals

  • Learn the existing RGA process and propose changes that will improve the reverse logistics flow to suppliers.
  • Prepare and present Capstone at end of term.
  • Supply chain provide guidance planning and making sure product is coming in and analytics
