What you'll do

  • Lead & Develop the Team : Manage and grow a motivated, high-performing tendering team across the Nordic zone. Recruit, onboard, and upskill team members to ensure engagement and excellence.
  • Oversee Tender Management : Supervise the preparation, submission, and follow-up of proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and client requirements.
  • Drive a Winning Culture : Foster a results-driven mindset focused on increasing win rates while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate Across Functions : Work closely with sales teams, business units, and other stakeholders to align strategies and exceed customer expectations.
  • Execute Strategic Goals : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through tenders, ensuring alignment with growth targets.
  • Monitor Performance : Track KPIs, ensure timely and high-quality submissions, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction : Deliver accurate, competitive, and high-quality tender submissions that meet client needs.

Essential for the role

Education & Experience:
  • Holds a master's degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Brings a solid foundation in tender management, with a proven track record of leading complex bids and proposals.
  • Experienced in steering solution or service-oriented business initiatives, ideally within the energy sector or similar industries.

Leadership & Management:
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, multicultural teams.
  • Experience in change management and team development.
  • Strong decision-making skills and accountability under pressure.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tender management tools (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes is a plus.

Languages:
  • Fluent in English, with the added advantage of proficiency in a Nordic language.
