About the Role

As a System Test Engineering Intern , you will join our Home & Soluton - R&D team and play a key role in ensuring product quality through verification and validation activities. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in testing processes within an agile environment.

What You Will Do

  • Work in the area of smart home, energy management and climate control with Schneider Electrics global solution called Wiser Home.
  • Perform manual and automated testing.
  • Participate in planning, designing, developing, and executing, basic test scripts with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Learn and acquire system knowledge from experienced team members.
  • Prepare reports according to defined reporting procedures.
  • Support and collaborate within an Agile team during the development cycle.
  • Work with the product quality team to conduct field testing and ensure proper and safe product functionality.
  • Contribute to designing and developing basic functional and non-functional tests and help improve requirement coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with the Verification and Validation team during verification activities to support testing and issue resolution.
  • Inform management about detected deviations or potential problems.
  • Review existing processes and propose improvements with team support.
  • Handle basic and moderately complex tasks, analyze information, and apply agreed testing strategies.
  • Present task status during V&V meetings and participate in planning future tasks.
  • Maintain test documentation (test specifications, test plans, test results) in designated tools.
  • Work with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure entry criteria for testing are met.
  • Develop critical thinking from an end-user perspective and provide quick feedback on product behavior.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation.
  • Actively participate in risk analysis, FMEA approach, and various quality processes.
  • Continuously improve the system by following and respecting the defect lifecycle.


What We're Looking For

  • Currently in the final year of Bachelor's or Master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience is not mandatory , but considered an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in English language (written and spoken).



What qualifitacions will make you successful for this role?

  • Basic programming knowledge (C, C++, Python ).
