Within Australia, our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne's CBD. The facility plays a crucial role in our Engineered To Order (ETO) operations, providing energy and automation solutions for efficiency and sustainability, primarily Transformers, Kiosks and Switchgear. As a large-scale Energy Technology Partner, we are committed to our regional presence in Victoria and maintain a passion for manufacturing.

We look forward to you joining us in the critical role of Supply Chain Deployment Senior Project Manager. This exciting career opportunity will see you executing a variety of specialist projects related to supply chain transformation for our Global Engineered To Order (ETO) operations across the APAC region. You will leverage your depth of specialist experience to lead and coordinate regional industrial transformation projects across multiple sites, ensuring the successful execution of plant restructurings, line extensions, capacity adaptations and industrial transfers.

This is a truly impactful senior role that will see you overseeing minor restructuring and major facility extensions, follow-up across various sites and related locations as you ensure that our internal guidelines are effectively applied to enable successful transformations. This is a rarely available role, ideal for the senior supply chain professional - come and showcase your valuable skills and experience as you impact the strategic success of Schneider Electric across our Pacific Zone and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of regional transformation projects by executing plant restructurings, line extensions, capacity adaptations and other Long Term Industrial Plans (LTIP).
  • Coordinate multi-site project delivery through planning, tracking and maintaining LTIP and PWP activities, ensuring alignment across the region.
  • Manage project resources and Industrial Transfers by identifying required resources, supporting operational transitions and overseeing workforce and skills-related transformations.
  • Drive Risk Management and Operational Continuity through the proactive identification of risks, contingency planning, prioritisation and escalating risk or other project issues.
  • Ensure strong governance and Quality Control by conducting pre and post-transfer Audits, implementing action plans and managing stage-gate deliverables.
  • Lead stakeholder and Change Management activities by facilitating steering committees, coordinating project communications and maintaining engagement with local management, employee teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to various sites within the APAC region when required.


About You

As a senior supply chain leader, you will come with the experience that has seen you deliver manufacturing transformation and operational excellence initiatives across multiple sites. Backed by your diverse skills and a level of mastery across your formal qualifications, you will be ready to leverage your proven ability to lead large-scale program delivery as you utilise your depth of experience across manufacturing operations and related technical environments.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Engineering Industrial, Process Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics) and a depth of experience across similar senior supply chain roles.
  • Previous experience in leading large-scale manufacturing, industrial transformation, plant restructuring, capacity expansion, line transfers, or operational improvement projects within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, production processes, workforce planning, and industrial transfer activities within a global or regional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior leaders, site management teams, employees and other cross-functional stakeholders to successfully deliver organisational change.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience in coordinating geographically dispersed teams, with the flexibility to travel across the APAC region as required.
