Lead the Channel & Partner Business Across WA
Schneider Electric is deeply embedded in Western Australia's energy infrastructure - powering commercial buildings, industrial sites, and regional developments through our trusted channel ecosystem.
Our Channel & Partner business is the engine room of our commercial success, delivering energy distribution solutions through a network of contractors, consultants, switchboard manufacturers, distribution partners and EcoXpert partners.
We're looking for a strategic sales leader to take full ownership of our WA territory. Based at our Malaga site, you'll lead a high-performing team and drive growth through our channel partners.
This role is at the intersection of commercial leadership, digital transformation, and customer enablement - and it plays a critical role in Schneider Electric's broader energy management strategy.
About the Business Unit
The Channel & Partner business is Schneider Electric's primary go-to-market engine for transactional sales across Australia. It delivers:
- Low-voltage distribution products including circuit breakers, switchgear, and smart panels
- Digitally enabled solutions powered by EcoStruxure and our Partner Portal
- Segment-specific offerings tailored to commercial buildings, infrastructure, and industrial applications
Our WA channel strategy is built on strong relationships, technical prescription, and partner enablement. You'll work with a diverse customer base across the state, helping them transition to smarter, more sustainable energy solutions.
Your Purpose and Impact
As State Sales Manager - WA, you'll lead, grow, and transform our Channel & Partner business across the state. You'll coach and elevate your team, build deep relationships across the channel ecosystem, and deliver sustainable growth through digitisation and electrification.

You'll be responsible for executing WA's channel strategy in alignment with Pacific Zone and global priorities. You'll represent Schneider Electric in the WA market - not just as a supplier, but as a strategic advisor and transformation partner.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of direct reports across WA
- Building and executing WA's channel strategy aligned to national and global priorities
- Driving commercial excellence through team selling, customer intimacy, and performance recognition
- Championing digital transformation across the partner journey, enabling adoption of Schneider's digital tools and services
- Delivering sustainable growth through prescription selling, relationship building, and value-based differentiation
- Engaging with contractors, consultants, wholesalers, builders, developers, and switchboard manufacturers across WA
- Collaborating with internal teams and Pacific Zone leadership
- Managing budgets and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of projects and programs
- Framing opportunities, building business cases, and delivering customer-oriented solutions
- Fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and high performance across the WA team
About You
You're a commercially minded leader who thrives on coaching teams, building trust, and driving transformation. You're curious, innovative, and passionate about sustainability. You understand the energy landscape and see the opportunity in digitisation and electrification.
You bring:
- Proven experience in team leadership within a commercial/sales environment
- A track record of achieving targets and enabling team success
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking and high-level problem-solving capability
- Experience as a change agent, with the ability to influence and deliver outcomes
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, and a passion for customer experience
