Sr. Manager - Key accounts services sales

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and results-oriented Senior Manager - Key Accounts Service Sales to lead our Service Sales business across West Bengal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth through strategic account management, installed-base monetization, modernization projects, digital services, recurring service contracts, and spare parts sales.

This role requires a strong consultative selling approach, deep understanding of MV/LV electrical distribution systems, and the ability to build long-term relationships with key industrial and infrastructure customers.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute regional service sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers across industrial, commercial, utility, and infrastructure segments.
  • Drive sales of:
    • Modernization & Retrofit Solutions
    • Digital Services & Condition Monitoring Solutions
    • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
    • Recurring Service Agreements
    • Spare Parts & Consumables
    • Field Services and Lifecycle Services
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Develop strong relationships with strategic accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Create account growth plans to maximize wallet share and customer retention.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and proposing value-driven service solutions.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification
  • Monitor upcoming projects, installed-base opportunities, and market trends.
  • Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and service offerings.
  • Conduct customer presentations, technical discussions, and value-selling engagements.
Channel & Partner Management
  • Develop and manage distributors, service partners, and channel relationships.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to expand market coverage and service penetration.
CRM & Sales Excellence
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, and customer data in Salesforce CRM.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, project updates, and market intelligence.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and pipeline hygiene.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with service operations, engineering, tendering, finance, and project execution teams.
  • Support order execution, customer satisfaction, and timely payment collection.
  • Ensure seamless customer experience from opportunity identification to project closure.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing/Business Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • 8-12 years of experience in B2B Sales, Service Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
  • Proven experience in selling electrical equipment services, modernization solutions, digital services, or lifecycle management solutions.
  • Strong exposure to MV/LV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, power distribution, or industrial automation solutions.
