Solutions Risk Manager
Provides regional leadership and governance for Solution Risk Management across East Asia, ensuring compliance with the Solution Business Policy (SBP) and Customer Project Process (CPP). Leads cross-functional risk assessments during the pursuit and tender phases of solution projects, coordinating and challenging expert input across technical, operational, financial, contractual, legal, tax, trade compliance, and supply chain domains. Delivers comprehensive risk evaluations and recommendations to senior approvers, facilitates Tender Reviews, escalates strategic risk decisions to executive leadership, and supports customer negotiations where required. Contributes to regional and global framework agreement governance, drives risk management capability development through coaching and training, and promotes a strong risk culture to improve project outcomes, protect business interests, and support sustainable profitability.
- Lead and support the East Asia (EA) regional governance of the Solution Business Policy (SBP) and ensure compliance with the Customer Project Process (CPP) throughout the opportunity and tender lifecycle.
- Partner with Tender and Opportunity teams to drive the risk management process during offer preparation, identifying, assessing, challenging, and mitigating risks to reduce exposure to financial, operational, contractual, legal, compliance, and reputational impacts.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and challenge input from Subject Matter Leaders and Experts (SMLs/SMEs) across technical, operational, organizational, supply chain, financial, contractual, legal, tax, and trade compliance disciplines to ensure comprehensive risk evaluation.
- Provide management and approvers with a consolidated 360-degree risk assessment, including key risks, mitigation strategies, commercial positions, and recommendations prior to offer submission (S2), enabling informed decision-making and defining the negotiation mandate through contract award and order acceptance.
- Chair and facilitate Tender Review meetings, ensuring robust cross-functional participation, effective challenge of assumptions, and clear alignment on project risk positions.
- Prepare and issue Tender Review Minutes of Meeting (MoM), risk summaries, and SRM recommendations, and escalate critical matters through formal SRM memoranda to approvers and senior leadership.
- Advise business leaders, including Zone management, commercial leadership, and finance stakeholders, on risk exposures, mitigation strategies, and actions required to improve the overall risk profile of projects and commercial offers.
- Support negotiations and participate in customer meetings when required to facilitate bid finalization and achieve acceptable commercial and contractual outcomes.
- Contribute to the review, governance, and approval of regional and global Framework Agreements (FWAs), including coordination of cross-functional assessments, preparation of approval packages, and escalation of recommendations to business leadership.
- Coach, train, and mentor business and operational teams on risk management principles, processes, policies, and best practices, leveraging SME expertise where appropriate.
- Promote and reinforce a strong risk management culture by driving awareness, accountability, and disciplined decision-making across the organization.

Requirements
- Finance or Technical background. Bachelor's degree a must Master's / MBA a plus point
- 9 to 10 years of Experience. Minimum 3+ years Contractual / techno commercial / controlling.
- Must be experienced with EA - North countries. Prior SRM knowledge is a plus point.
- Capacity to challenge & strong influencing skills, often under uncomfortable situations.
- Able to foster collaboration & build strong/meaningful connections across the SE organization.
- Ability to analyze and perform with agility in a transverse role.
- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Proactive with strong organizational & issue resolution skills.
- Contract review & Contractual risk management experience a strong advantage.
- Good / working knowledge of SE Systems & Solution business will be plus.
