SITE SAFETY LEAD
Main Mission
Deploy and implement France- and Group-level Health & Safety policies within their scope.
Key Significant Activities
Apply Group policies and standards and legal requirements within scope:
- Ensure and be accountable for regulatory compliance and compliance with Group standards: contractor safety plans, mandatory training, Risk Assessment Document (EVRP), etc.
- Define action plans and lead them.
- Deploy the safety culture.
- Keep the Safety Management System alive: SPS, EHSA, IMS, etc.
- Keep the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) up to date for safety aspects and test its effectiveness.
Provide expertise for all projects:
- Validate and contribute to industrial/organizational transformation projects by integrating Health & Safety impacts.
- Carry out safety incident analyses.
- Contribute to the reduction or elimination of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
- Analyze accidentology results to propose improvements.
- Steer, track, and report domain KPIs.
- Support necessary and urgent decisions following a risk or an occupational accident.
Drive prevention policy in support of management:
- Participate in local CSSCT (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Commission) meetings and their facilitation.
- Organize regulatory drills: evacuation, emergency situations, etc.
- Lead the community of first aiders and local fire teams.
- Contribute to maintaining the proper level of electrical and CACES authorizations and mandatory training.
- Ensure refreshers and associated administrative documents.
- Draft CERFA forms and advise on contesting occupational accidents and/or diseases; ensure monitoring of the employer's account.
- In the absence of a site Safety Prevention Specialist, assume their missions and activities.
May act as the interface between the France Safety Directorate and campus Site Safety Officers, and be the campus safety guarantor:
- Coordinate site Safety Officers (share experience and best practices, pool resources, organize animation cycles and necessary visits, contribute to campus and France Safety Directorate activities).
- Contribute to organizational evolutions and site transformation projects.
- Escalate issues to the France Safety Directorate.
- Take coordination of SERE topics.
Relational Field
Internal relationships
- Provides expertise to: Site Directors; Operational Activity Managers; CSSCT; Support functions: Occupational Health, HR, Corporate Security France.
- Collaborates with: France and Europe Safety Directorate; France and Europe subject-matter experts; Management System teams.

External relationships
- Collaborates with: administrations and local authorities; external providers (experts, consultants, etc.).
Reporting Lines
- N+1: Site or Plant Director.
- May have line responsibility for a Site Safety Prevention Specialist.
- May have functional responsibility for campus Site Safety Officers.
- Scope defined by line management.
- Participate in onboarding and training of contractors working on our sites.
- Autonomy in organizing work and action plans.
- Escalate to line management and/or an SME as needed.
- Ensure regulatory watch and communicate it to operations and management.
Technical know-how:
- Know and master applicable regulation.
- Know ISO 45001 / MASE depending on activity.
- Know Schneider Electric rules, tools, processes, standards, and organizations.
- Facilitate teams or working groups.
- Facilitate CSSCT.
- Project management.
- Root cause analysis methods.
Expected professional behaviors:
- Pedagogical; rigorous; concise; leadership; conviction; structured.

- Driving license: group B
- MS Office: user
Qualification
- Required degree of education: Master degree
- Achieved degree of education: Master degree
- Required field of education: Generalist Engineer or HSE specialist
- Required length of experience: 3 year
