Senior Engineer I, Mechanical Systems Technical Execution
Mission
Design and deliver customized Busway solutions that meet customer and project requirements while ensuring technical feasibility, manufacturability, reliability, and cost competitiveness. Act as the key engineering interface between customer/project requirements, League R&D teams, and manufacturing plants to drive successful execution of customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for designing customized busway solutions basis customer/Project requirements - design, drawing, BOM, and related engineering documentation.
Ensure designs meet customer specifications, applicable standards, and internal quality requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design manufacturability and production feasibility
Coordinate with League R&D teams on design feasibility for customized requirements.
Validate designs through simulations, calculations, testing, and other engineering verification methods as required.
Lead prototype development and validation activities to ensure performance, compliance, and reliability requirements are met.

Provide technical guidance during the manufacturing of customized products, Support product inspections and quality validation activities.
Drive product competitiveness through cost optimization, design simplification, Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives, and innovation to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, and overall market competitiveness.
Drive continuous improvement in customized design processes and engineering efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of product design and development experience.
- Proven ability to independently execute design activities from concept through validation and release.
- Prior experience in Busway design or power distribution products preferred.
- Experience in product testing, prototyping, and manufacturing support is an advantage.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in CAD tools including AutoCAD, Creo, and Pro/E.
- Strong understanding of Busway systems, electrical distribution applications, and customer project requirements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, design validation methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
