Senior Associate, Tender Management
Join us as a Senior Associate in Tender Management and drive business growth through strategic bid leadership. You'll lead the full tendering lifecycle, from analyzing customer requirements to crafting compelling proposals that win. The Senior Associate in Tender Management is responsible for developing competitive, high-quality tender submissions by leveraging
existing technologies and collaborating across multiple Business Units (BUs). This role ensures optimal solution design through reuse of proven solutions, integration of cross-BU capabilities, and alignment with customer requirements, while maintaining cost competitiveness and technical compliance. The Service Tendering Engineer ensures all tenders are technically compliant, commercially competitive, risk-assessed, and aligned with Customer Requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
What will you do?
- Prepare and develop technical and commercial proposals for power distribution systems (LV/MV, transformers) and
Power Monitoring Systems in accordance with tender requirements. - Manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring timely submission while maintaining quality and compliance
under tight deadlines. - Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to the execution team, including documentation and key requirement
briefings.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Preferably Electrical or Mechanical)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or proposal preparation for power distribution projects (LV/MV, Transformer) / Power Monitoring System.
- Strong understanding in tendering processes, offer development, and commercial strategy
- Skilled at following and improving process to enhance efficiency
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth coordination with key stakeholders throughout the tender process.
- Ability to analyze tender documents, drawings and specifications and translate requirements into compliant proposals
- Experience in cost estimation, supplier/vendor coordination, and quotation analysis
- Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines is a fast-paced environment
- Experience in post tender activities clarification & negotiation support and project handover
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong Knowledge for Electrical Power System (MV,LV, Transformer)
- Proficient with Power Monitoring Platform (SCADA, EMS)
- Familiar with communication protocol (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, IEC 61850)
- Proactive, driven, high performers with strong talent for winning tender bid
