Reporting Line: This person will report to the Head Of Risk Management - CEE, Risk Management.

What you will do:

• Develop personal expertise in global commodity markets for natural gas, electricity, crude & fuel oils, carbon, and coal
• Investigate, identify and provide impact analysis of pertinent market information that will affect clients
• Developing specific hedging strategies for energy commodities utilizing all available contract or financial instruments for industrial and commercial end-users
• Performing various types of analyses to assist clients in determining risk appetite via customized strategies toward managing energy market risk
• Presenting market analysis and strategic directions to external clients
• Conducting monthly market meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
• Travel requirements: limited but possible

What we need from you:

• University diploma or degree (preferably in an analytical role)
• Fluent English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage
• 5 years + experience in a similar role

A successful candidate should have a proven track record in the following:

• Experience in energy commodity fundamentals including crude oil, fuels, natural gas, electric power applicable to Europe markets, with a demonstrated understanding of the application of financial instruments and derivatives
• Expert knowledge of hedging strategies
• A self-starter with the ability to also work in a team setting in developing information, strategies and solutions
• Ability to build collaborative and successful relationships across internal departments and geographies
• Ability to build collaborative and successful relationships with external stakeholders
• Ability to be well organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to understand macro-economic trends and technical charting
• Experience presenting to senior level executives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Energy contract procurement experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
