The Role: Project Manager - Secure Power Application Center Japan

We are looking for Project Manager to handle Datacenter / Server Room projects in Japan.This role is accountable for managing complex multi-functional and/or multi-company product or services program customers. We are looking for people with the right mix of talent and agile - with proven self-leadership skills, strong analytical, communication skills, and individuals with the ability to work in a team setting are strongly encouraged to apply.

What will you do?
  • Project planning and execution in Japan to introduce mainly Schneider infrastructure for Datacenter/Server room based on Schneider PM methodology.
  • Plan and arrange the project schedule, internal/external necessary infrastructure and engineering resources with the customer/business partner and internal related departments.
  • Lead and control the actual on site activities to complete successfully include Schedule, Quality, Cost, Safety.
  • Deploy lessons learned from actual project to contribute our improvement for future business

  • Strong communicator - both written and verbal in technical and non-technical environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills.
  • Excellent business ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in operational style to meet the requirements or multi-culture position.

Who will you report to?
  • Head of Secure Power Application Centre, Japan

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • At least 7-10 years project/site management experience in Japan in the Mission Critical Infrastructure with both hands-on and supervisory level.
  • Native Japanese and basic English communication skills. Business level English communication skill would be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Local Installation Standards and Authorities Requirement,Certification of 1st Class Electrical work Construction Managing Engineers in Japan or equivalent certification would be added advantage.
  • Certification and some technical training covering Generator Systems, MV & LV Systems, Large UPS Systems, Chiller Systems, Fire Protection Systems etc would be added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use and have basic skill in AutoCad.
