Yesterday• El Paso, TX

Schneider Electric is looking for a Process Standardization and Governance Leader to join our team in Nashville, TN . This is a unique opportunity to help build and embed the operating system that will shape how NAM Engineered-to-Order (ETO) works across our organization. This leader will connect process standards, quality methods, data, KPIs, governance, systems, and plant execution to create a consistent and scalable way of working across NAM ETO operations.

You will partner across plants and functions, including Process Stewards, Business Process Owners, Digital/Data, and Operations, to strengthen standardization, improve decision-making, and ensure transformation initiatives successfully transition into sustainable day-to-day operations.

What will you do?

  • Build the operating backbone: Develop and govern the L1-L5 process architecture, controlled standards, change and variation registers, acceptance packages, and decision logs.
  • Drive process standardization: Establish consistent processes, governance practices, and quality methodologies across NAM ETO operations while identifying opportunities to reduce variation and improve performance.
  • Bring governance to life: Connect transformation initiatives with run-state operational reviews, enabling faster, data-driven decisions and clear accountability.
  • Transition transformation into sustainable operations: Lead acceptance and readiness activities across standards, KPIs, systems, data, training, ownership, risk, and ongoing support.
  • Make performance visible: Align ERP processes, master data, operational reporting, controls, and benefit measurement to create a trusted and transparent operating model.
  • Strengthen quality and continuous improvement practices: Apply quality methods and structured problem-solving approaches to improve processes, reduce recurring defects, and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Build lasting adoption: Partner with plants and functional teams to develop process competency, reinforce standards, measure adoption, and incorporate lessons learned into future improvements.
  • Partner across the enterprise: Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Digital, and other stakeholders to align processes, systems, data, and performance expectations.
  • Serve as a process and governance expert: Provide expertise in process standardization, quality methodologies, governance, and operating-model effectiveness while influencing stakeholders across functions and levels.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Significant experience in process transformation, operating-model deployment, manufacturing excellence, process standardization, or continuous improvement within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong background in quality methods, quality management systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and structured problem solving.
  • Knowledge of engineered-to-order (ETO) or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing, ideally across the process from engineering release through shipment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes, master data, transactional discipline, analytics, and KPI governance.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect processes, data, systems, governance, quality, and plant execution to improve overall business performance.
  • Proven experience facilitating complex discussions, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, managing organizational change, and communicating effectively with senior leadership.
  • Experience working across multiple functions, locations, cultures, and geographies.
  • Ability to operate as an expert and trusted partner, turning ambiguity into clear processes, standards, and actionable decisions while maintaining appropriate ownership and accountability across the organization.
