Mission Description
Small company... within a big company
As a Junior Project Procurement Buyer - Offer Creation & Industrialization (OCP/OFP), you will contribute to the successful development and industrialization of new offers within Universal Enclosures.
You will be part of the Procurement team and work closely with Marketing, R&D, Industrialization, Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure the availability of competitive suppliers and solutions for new products and manufacturing projects.
Aligned with Schneider Electric Procurement Strategy, your mission is to support sourcing and procurement activities linked to new offer creation (OCP) and offer fabrication/manufacturing projects (OFP), while ensuring the best balance between Quality, Cost, Delivery and Sustainability
Key Responsabilities
- Support sourcing activities for new offers and new components during OCP projects.
- Participate in supplier scouting, benchmark studies and market analysis to identify innovative and competitive suppliers.
- Support RFQ preparation, quotation analysis and supplier selection in alignment with commodity strategies.
- Contribute to target cost achievement through cost analysis, negotiation preparation and productivity initiatives.
- Participate in supplier risk assessments and support mitigation plans for new projects.
- Support industrialization activities linked to new suppliers, new tooling and new manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Industrialization and Quality teams during supplier qualification and PPAP/PPEP validation.
- Follow up project milestones and Procurement deliverables throughout OCP/OFP stage gates.
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery and responsiveness during project execution.
- Support implementation of QVE (Quality Value Engineering), COS (Change of Supplier) and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure Procurement data accuracy in digital systems and contribute to reporting activities.
- Participate in supplier meetings, business reviews and negotiation preparation.
- Promote sustainability, compliance and Schneider Electric Procurement policies in all sourcing activities.

- International background, working with several manufacturing plants in Europe in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Regular business trips abroad: approximately 10% to 20% of working time.
- Dynamic project environment requiring cross-functional collaboration and effective prioritization.
Profile
Education
- Master's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Business Administration; or
- Engineering degree with a strong interest in Procurement and Supplier Management.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Industrialization or Project Management.
- A first experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- An internship or apprenticeship in Procurement is appreciated.
- Fluent English: mandatory.
- Spanish: mandatory.
- French: strong advantage.
