For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.

Position Summary
The Import/Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, coordinating transportation, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. This role works closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods.
What are the key skills we are looking for?
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments via air, ocean, rail, and ground transportation.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading
- Certificates of Origin
- Export Declarations
- Customs documentation
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, international trade regulations, and company policies.
- Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate customs clearance.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays or issues.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and warehouses.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logistics reports.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, and Sales to meet delivery schedules.
- Verify freight invoices and approve transportation charges.
- Maintain Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications and country-of-origin records.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation related to inbound and outbound shipments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- 2-5 years of import/export or international logistics experience.
- Knowledge of Incoterms®, international shipping regulations, and customs compliance.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Strong understanding of transportation management and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, or similar).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HTS classification and customs regulations.
- Experience with Letters of Credit and international payment terms.
- Familiarity with export compliance (EAR/ITAR preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- APICS, CLTD, or related supply chain certification is a plus.
