Hardware Engineer - Electronics Hardware, Senior Design Engineer

Role

We are looking for a talented a R&D Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate electronic hardware for intelligent devices used in commercial building HVAC systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient, and standards-compliant solutions for modern building automation.

We are looking for a positive, confident, and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment and is passionate about developing next-generation technologies that connect and empower our products and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design analog and digital circuits for intelligent devices ranging from environmental sensor, pressure sensing and gas sensing applications.
  • Select and integrate sensors (e.g., position, temperature, pressure, Air quality)
  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using industry-standard tools (Cadence tools).
  • Perform hardware validation, testing, and debugging using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, mustimeters, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, safety, and HVAC industry standards.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to define product architecture.
  • Support prototype development and transition to mass production.
  • Document hardware designs, test procedures, and compliance reports.


Core Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of sensing technologies used in building HVAC solutions
  • Experience with sensor interfacing (analog, I2C, SPI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DFMEA and PFMEA process.
  • Knowledge of power electronics and low-power design.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building automation requirements.
  • Experience with hardware debugging and validation tools

Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with sensor calibration and environmental testing. End to end product life cycle experience
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL) and PCB design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems.
