Engineer II, Quality Continuous Improvement

The Seneca Project Engineering team seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer II. This position is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts across a diverse landscape, aligning front-office and back-office people, processes, and technology to transform our Project Engineering domain to gain consistency in practices and customer experience worldwide, while optimizing across operations, specialized support, system-wide governance, and continuous improvement.
What do you get to do in this position?
- Functional workstream leader for order engineering domain with a focus on end-to-end order execution excellence
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the project execution domain to effectively resolve barriers, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement.
- Provide experience and exposure opportunities to leverage the Electrifier community & sharing of ideas and leveraging best practices by leading the OE Communities of Practice
- Serve as the Quality to analyze OCN data and identity quality initiatives to deliver end-to-end engineering quality and customer satisfaction.
- Audit/Lead SPS Front End activities for Seneca Plant.
- Identity training & development needs across the engineering domain
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion (based upon SPS principles) for obtaining results
- Work across several lines of business with multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Utilize Lean skills to address complex process opportunities with simple solutions
- Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions
- Input into our existing and future tools, processes, business transformation projects (Titan, SE Advantage, ACE OE, SEE XP, Scheduling/Loading)

- Bachelor of Science, preferably within an Engineering based discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) but will consider Business, Computer Science or other related technical fields
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Order/Application Engineer with ETO products
- In-depth understanding of the end-to-end ETO business processes, tools, and applications
- Significant knowledge and experience within Project Engineering with proven success managing
large orders, complex projects, and key accounts responsibility - Demonstrated business acumen, time and priority management skills
- Ability to drive process and culture change in a mature organization with success with leading improvement activities and delivering results
- Collaborative, proactive, able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-changing environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills including but not limited to the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
- Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to eliminate barriers strategically utilizing problem-solving tools
- Self-directed, reliable, and results-oriented individual who drives results themselves and through others resulting in tangible positive impacts to Key performance indicators

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
