EMS Supply Chain Manager

The Role: EMS Supply Chain Manager

At Schneider Electric, our supply chain is a key driver of customer satisfaction, business growth, and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced EMS Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities across our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) ecosystem and ensure continuity of supply, operational agility, and business performance.

This role will be responsible for managing supply planning, forecast alignment, material availability, supplier collaboration, shortage mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and EMS partners. The scope includes supporting key EMS operations, including facilities in Batam and Vietnam.

What will you do?

End-to-End Supply Chain Management

• Lead supply chain planning and execution to ensure operational excellence across EMS operations.
• Drive performance against key supply chain metrics, including delivery performance, supply reliability, inventory management, and planning compliance.
• Monitor end-to-end material flow and ensure alignment between customer demand, production plans, and supplier capabilities.
• Strengthen supply chain resilience through proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Shortage & Risk Management

• Lead war-room governance and escalation processes to address material shortages and supply disruptions.
• Partner with global planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve critical supply constraints.
• Drive component allocation, rebalancing activities, and escalation management to support business continuity.
• Ensure timely communication and coordination across stakeholders during supply chain disruptions.

Forecast & Demand Planning

• Oversee demand and forecast validation processes to improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
• Monitor forecast commitments and alignment between customer demand, purchase orders, and supplier capacity.
• Develop action plans to address demand fluctuations and changing market conditions.
• Ensure capacity readiness to support business growth and customer requirements.

Supplier & Upstream Management

• Collaborate with EMS partners, suppliers, and upstream planning teams to improve supply performance.
• Drive Purchase Order compliance, Strategic Safety Stock deployment, and Last Time Buy execution.
• Monitor inventory health, excess & obsolete inventory, and supply chain cost optimization opportunities.
• Build strong supplier relationships to enhance responsiveness, reliability, and long-term performance.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Lead supply chain transformation initiatives and process improvements.
• Enhance supply chain visibility and data-driven decision making.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Business teams.
• Support global initiatives focused on agility, sustainability, customer experience, and operational performance.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Experience working in manufacturing, EMS, electronics, or industrial environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing complex supply chain networks and supplier ecosystems.
• Knowledge of forecasting, inventory optimization, shortage management, and supply planning methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Financial acumen and understanding of supply chain cost drivers.
• Fluent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
