Job Title: Electronics Hardware, Senior Principal Architect
RESPONSIBILITIES
ü Research and analyze customer needs, benchmark study to understand market trends of UPS industry.
ü Develop technical road map, build UPS platform design with focus on safety, reliability, performance, and competitive cost.
ü Apply technical tools and procedures to improve design efficiency and robustness.
ü Define design standard and test plan, review/approve test reports, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensure functionality, safety and reliability of the design.
ü Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in UPS product design.
ü Develop local supplier, localize key components to optimize cost and resilience.
ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end to end offer creation, design for manufacturing, design for quality.
ü Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and external clients on UPS technical issues. Quick troubleshooting to resolve field quality issues.
ü Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in power electronics, implement them in UPS product design.
ü Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance and reliability of UPS power systems through testing and analysis.
资格
REQUIREMENTS
ü Master's degree of Electronic, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
ü Minimum of 12 years of experience in power electronics design, recent 8 years+ working on UPS design. Proved experience on chief, architect or equivalent role.
ü Familiar with UPS application requirements and relevant standards (performance, testing, safety, EMC).
ü Strong knowledge in major power topologies, analog and digital electronic design.
ü Strong knowledge in software power control logic, communication protocol and MCU selection.
ü Experience on worst case calculation, modeling and simulation, design margin.
ü Proficient in the calculation and sizing of power converter components, including magnetic components. Familiar with critical parts.

ü Fluent English in oral, reading and writing.
ü Effective report writing, communication and presentation skill.
